Since the museum’s closure in June 2020 due to the coronavirus quarantine, we have continued to be closed as we installed a new permanent exhibit. However, we are excited to announce that the WSMR Museum will be reopening to the public on Thursday, 4 May 2023. The opening ceremony will begin at 9am at the WSMR Museum.
Open hours starting on 4 May will be Monday – Saturday, 9am-4pm. The Museum is closed on Sundays and Federal Holidays.

On May 4, the White Sands Missile Range Museum is hosting a grand reopening ceremony to celebrate the recently completed renovations!
The grand reopening will take place at the White Sands Missile Range Museum (near the Las Cruces gate) at 9 a.m. on May 4. The event is free and open to the public and media.
