Brigadier General Gregory “Greg” Brady entered the active Army in 1991 after graduating from the U.S. Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree. He also holds a Master of Arts degree from The Catholic University of America in International Relations and Master of Arts degree in Military Studies from the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College.

On August 7, 2019, Brigadier General Brady became the first General Officer to assume command of the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (10th AAMDC). Previous to his command at the 10th AAMDC, BG Brady served as the 37th Commanding General of White Sands Missile Range, “Birthplace of America’s Missile and Space Activity,” Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) where he led the testing for the Army’s Modernization Strategy priorities: Air and Missile Defense and Long Range Precision Fires.

Most recently, he served in the following key command and developmental assignments: Fires Chief, Army G-3/5/7 Headquarters Department of the Army, Pentagon, Washington DC; Deputy Commanding Officer, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command (32 AAMDC), US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), Fort Bliss, Texas; Commander, 10th Army Air & Missile Defense Command (10th AAMDC), U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR), U.S. European Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Operations and Plans Division Chief, Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), Human Resources Command (HRC), Fort Knox, Kentucky.

BG Brady’s military education includes: Air Defense Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Airborne School, Ranger School, the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College, the Joint and Combined Warfighting School, selected as an U.S. Army War College Fellow to the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Seminar XXI National Security Studies Fellowship Program.

BG Brady has been awarded various campaign, unit, and service awards.
